Rounds by Handcraft Health

Real Cases, Played Together

A study game for Chinese medicine and integrative students and practitioners. Play the week's case with your group, or pick a subject and play anytime, with Nuri as your host.

Two Ways to Play

A new case lands every week. When there isn't one, there's always a subject to play.

Case of the Week

One case for the whole group. Read the history, tongue and labs, make your call, then see how everyone else read it.

Play Anytime

Pick a subject and Nuri quizzes you in a quick round, on your own or with your group. No case needed.

Eastland PressQuestions You Can TrustPowered by Eastland Press
  • Built from Eastland Press texts

Questions draw on the library of our exclusive data partner, the publisher behind decades of English-language Chinese medicine study.

  • Every answer shows its source

After each question you see where the answer comes from, so a round doubles as a reading list.

  • Reviewed by practitioners

Cases are fictional and checked by licensed practitioners before anyone plays them.

A Round Table for Every Case

Make your call, celebrate the right ones and see how your peers chose.

Leagues

Every Case Counts for Your School or Your Discipline

For students

School League

Your points count for your school. Schools are ranked by the average per active student, so a small program can beat a big one.

For practitioners

Community League

Start or join a group with a name of your own: a study circle, old classmates or a few colleagues across town. Groups are ranked by the average per active member, so a group of five can beat a group of fifty. Not in one yet? You start in Integrative Grand Rounds, the open group for every practitioner.

For Students

Pick your school and start playing. Verify a school email or your student ID to put your points on the School League.

For Professionals

Sign in with your Handcraft Health account to carry over your name and verified credential. Your clinic, orders and patients stay in Handcraft Health.

Cases are fictional and reviewed by licensed practitioners. Rounds is for study, not advice about a real patient.

Questions About Rounds

When does Rounds launch?

Rounds is coming to iPhone and Android. Tap Notify Me and we will email you the day it is ready.

Who can play?

Students and professionals aged 18 and over. Students can play everything; verifying a school email or student ID adds your points to the School League.

Do I need a Handcraft Health account?

No. Rounds has its own sign-in with an emailed code. If you already use Handcraft Health, you can sign in with that account, and your clinic, orders and patients stay where they are.

Do I have to join a group?

No. Every case and subject can be played on your own, with your own streak, level and badges. For the Community League, practitioners start in Integrative Grand Rounds, the open group for everyone, until they start or join their own.

What if there's no case this week?

Pick a subject and play a quick round anytime: herbs, formulas, diagnosis or acupuncture, on your own or with your group.

Where do the questions come from?

Subject questions are written from Eastland Press texts, through our exclusive data partnership, and every answer shows its source. Cases are fictional, written for study and reviewed by licensed practitioners before anyone plays them. Rounds is for learning, not advice about a real patient.
